corpsman89
Hi all, I was accepted to a school in WV and a heavily considering attending. However, I have noticed that WV scope of practice for PAs is among the worst in the nation. Am I just reading material that is out dated or is this true? Is it true that PAs cannot prescribe schedule II medications in WV, and can only prescribe 72 hours of schedule III medication? That's worse than Florida, and they didn't even allow PAs to prescribe medication less than 6 months ago. Other than prescribing authority, are there any other disparities for PAs in WV. Are the job opportunities good even with the prescribing authority? Thank you, Greg
