Jasmine Hi Jasmine and Nitin, I am an international student who finished her undergraduate in Colorado and am in the process of applying to PA school. I am confused as to whether you are looking for PA programs that grant F-1 student visa or any institutions that would allow you to finish your prerequisite coursework. From my understanding, you can complete your prerequisite coursework in most undergraduate institutions that are able to grant F-1 student visa (most state schools are able to do this). They usually determine your admission through TOEFL scores and your ability to finance your education while in the U.S. As far as PA school goes, there's a lot more research to be done as some schools are unable to admit international students because we are unqualified for federal loans. I know that Eastern Michigan University and Pacific University admit international students. PM me if you need more clarification, I am happy to help! Nitin Joglekar Hi Nitin, After I sent e-mail to more than 20 PA schools and int' student department in some universities. They suggested me to take prerequisite coursework anywhere in US as a non degree seeking student. But must take at least 9 hours in order for school to issue a F-1 student visa. I will try to contact some city colleges again.
