Eastern Michigan 2016-2017 Application cycle

Recommended Posts

Hello Future PA's!

So I didn't see a thread for this years application cycle, and decided to start one. Any updates? I submitted my grad school application on July 15th and my CASPA application July 1st,  but have not heard anything new since.

Hello all!

I got my confirmation email that I met all requirements July 23rd. I really hope the school sticks to their timeline this year and lets us know by October 1st as promised! So much of applying to PA program is hurry up and wait.

Also, anyone have any information as to why Jay Peterson (former director of the program) is gone and now they have someone new as an interim director?

Just curious...

Anyone here anything recently? I submitted my applications on 8/30. Everything is verified, but still no word if I meet minimum requirements by the program. On pins and needles, checking my e-mail 10 times a day.

When you say submitted I hope you mean CASPA completed your application by 8/30? It takes a few weeks for CASPA to complete the process once you submit and the deadline for EMU was 9/1. That's why CASPA recommends you submit at least four weeks before an application deadline. I hope I misunderstood your post.

Did you ever find out why he left?  That's too bad, I really liked him!

Figured I would update the thread to let those know I received an interview invite, but have declined.

Best of luck to those with upcoming interviews!

Would you mind telling us what your stats are?
