If you have already submitted your application then the hard part is over! Now you just have to have faith in yourself and your hard work that you will hear back! Nashville is such a great area, is it close to home for you? @mollylou89

I live in Indianapolis but my fiancé and I LOVE Nashville. We got engaged there last summer and have been going there as a quick weekend "getaway" for years! It's only about 5 hours if we don't hit traffic in Louisville!

We have quite a few people in my class from up north from the Michigan and Ohio/Indiana area! That's not a bad commute at all. Well, I know that last year I received my invite for an interview in early October and my interview took place in early November, so keep an eye out for emails from the school!

Hey there, I'm a current student in the program so if you guys have any questions I can try my best to answer them!! Good luck to everyone!!

Hey PA-S18! Just a few questions:

What's a normal day in didactic like?

Your favorite aspect about Trevecca's PA program?

Thank you in advance for your time!

Hey! So a normal day in the first semester of summer gives you a lot more free time than the rest of the semesters in the didactic phase. Summer 1: classes start at 9 and then we were usually done by 2pm. For fall class starts at 8:30am and we are on campus until at least 4pm. Our days are full of classes, but we get breaks in between each one (30mins to an hour). We stay in the same room for all of our classes, so that eliminates travel time in between classes and we don't have to lug all of our stuff around! We also start our first physical assessment lab in the fall, so that is super fun! And my favorite aspect about this program is definitely my classmates and the faculty. The program does a great job selecting a group of people that are very cohesive with each other and we all genuinely like and support each other! It eliminates the pressure/competitiveness between each other. The faculty is amazing too! They all love us and really want to see us succeed.

Hope that helps!!

I was invited for my interview in the first week of October and had my interview in mid November! They interviewed all the way to January/February for last years cycle.

Many thanks for answering my questions, it is duly appreciated! When did you submit your CASPA during your application cycle?

I think it was around late August, early September! It took me a while to perfect my personal statement and all of the other small replies in the applications.

Can you please give me an overview of an interview process? Is it stressful? Any tips? I am interviewing on 10/21. Thanks in advance!

My experience was great when I came for my interview! They may have changed some things around (they seem to make tweeks to their process every year), but my group consisted of three other applicants. They took us into one room to start off with an overview of the program and just to introduce you to how they operate and what is important to them and then you can ask some questions. Then we had four separate one on one interview with four different faculty members that lasted about 10 minutes. They make you feel very comfortable and it is very laid back! Then when the individual interviews are over they bring everyone back into the same room and just close out the interview and allow you to ask anymore questions and then they gave us a small tour of where we spend most of our time. I believe you take a short survey at the end and that's it! Not stressful at all! Just be yourself and don't rush through anything and be honest, because they just want to get to know you. I would say for any of your interviews come with a few questions because they like to see that you did some research on their program and that you have interest in specific things. You will do great! You got an interview so you are one step closer, and just have faith in all of the hard work that you have done to get to this point! Hope this helps!

Good luck!
