LKPAC
What are your thoughts for Cerner in clinical (non-hospital) use? Thanks.
GetMeOuttaThisMess
Yep. PowerChart here. I free type all hx.'s. Works ok IF you have default shortcuts for PMH, ROS, and I have default exams for respective complaints. I have shortcuts for default pt. instructions as well. Don't like it not having an auto-update schedule screen, seems to disconnect from server frequently at variable time intervals. All this being said, I use Workflow in lieu of Provider Documentation. I don't use their Pt. Education sheets because I don't agree with some of the statements "Let doc know if you develop green sputum". Huh? I wrote out my own D/C instruction sheet and keep it in rooms for me to just circle relevant information.
