New interesting study released today

The terminology of the study was rather odd, don't you think?  "No more wasteful" and "low value health services" for example.

I get it that they were comparing services for URI, back pain, etc and apparently those are low value health services.  All in all, a decent study to show that we proved basically equal if not similar care for the low value services.

Do you think there could even be a comparison to "high value services" which might mean care for MI, PE, sepsis?  Are there enough APCs who work in areas where they manage the "high value services" autonomously to the point that it could be studied? Possible only in rural areas where PAs are solo providers, and not in a large, hospital or university medical school based system.

I will take the outcome of the study for PAs as  a positive.
