pastudentw Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 I'm a re-applicant as well. I am really hoping that applying this early will significantly help compared to last year. I'm feeling so high strung about the entire thing though! Waiting is painful. The main PA I have shadowed graduated from this program and he said the rolling admissions at this school is really intense with how many applications they get and how fast they fill interview spots. hills93 Posted May 26, 2016 Share Posted May 26, 2016 It's my first year applying and I too am still waiting on my supplemental- I'm incredibly nervous as this is my first choice school! I inquired and met with an admissions counselor for the program last year in August, and have been working since to ensure that my application meets their requirements- however you never know due to the fact that this is such a competitive program. pastudentw Posted May 31, 2016 Share Posted May 31, 2016 @SueBee89- I just received my application as well and had the same concern as you because it talked about LORs not being complete. I gave them a quick phone call just now and she explained the email is just worded funny. It's basically just stating a common reason why most applications are incomplete, not that your specific application is incomplete. She said once they receive the supp app, they would email you if anything was actually incomplete. Kata2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Share Posted June 1, 2016 Hi everyone, This is my first time posting on one of these forums but everyone has been posted some great info and I wanted to see if I could get some input. I also received the Secondary App invite today and although it said that I met the minimum GPA requirements it said that I did not for the LOR. I was really concerned because I did not remember reading until now that they are asking for the last letter of reference to be from a Science faculty member. Did anyone else have the same concern? I am now working on getting that last letter but I am panicked I might miss the window to potentially interview early. I will be submitting my secondary today! Yeah! Best of luck to everyone! I was told that they will most likely start reviewing Secondary Apps next week.
