Received my supplemental this morning, working on it!

What is the advice for how long the essay answers should be? I wouldn't think that the ADCOM would want a full 4000 characters for each question, with all the applications they have to read through. Or is everyone using all 4000 characters, or close to that?

With the exception of the last question, I used as many of the characters as I could. Although I didn't think that the answers would end that way, most ended up being nearly full. I didn't realize how much I wanted to say until I started typing and proofreading. For myself, I considered this an opportunity to make sure the ADCOM had a pretty solid idea about who I am as a person. The supplemental application looks like it's written so the ADCOM can find out who you ARE.

No one knows what questions they will ask you in an interview. You may not get a chance to say everything you wanted to say in the interview. Don't look back wishing that you had told them those things you wanted them to know. Notwithstanding, it's probably not wise to stray away from actually ANSWERING THE QUESTION.

If you use 4,000 characters, great. If not, then make sure you haven't left anything unsaid and I'm sure that will be ok too.

First, ask yourself: WHO AM I?               I'm sure that's what the questions are trying to find out.

Mine was the same. I'm not sure about the length. I only have so much to write about my religious background. Thoughts?

LLU has a culturally diverse student body and spiritual growth is very important to the school. My advice would be to make sure you completely describe your religious background, but don't worry that your experiences will prevent you from being accepted. There are Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Atheists ect. on campus. But the student body is one big family, nonetheless. A part of LLU's mission is to help students develop academically, professionally, AND spiritually.

How have your religious experiences prepared you for this? What are you trying to accomplish by attending a school that places importance on this? (Don't answer here; this question is rhetorical, of course.)

I hope this helps you.

Has anyone receive an interview invite yet?

I have received some communication from admissions but nothing regarding an interview. In the information session, the staff stated notifications would start going out in September. I've already put down a seating deposit elsewhere but I would likely still attend an interview if offered. I love so many aspects about this program!
