Picking rotation sites.. What is a better experience? inpt or outpt?

Go with a mixture! They're different experiences and you should have both. When you're picking your first job, it'll be helpful if you know what setting is best for you. In general, I like inpatient medicine for learning because you get quick feedback on test results etc.

I SAW more at my teaching hospital rotations.  I DID more at my clinic rotations.  The vast majority of my rotations were entirely positive experiences, and I would have been poorer for it if all of them had been in one sort of environment or another.
