FS: Welch Allyn Panoptic Ophthalmoscope, $350 shipped obo

New (Open Box) device that was purchased in August 2014.  This is for the head only.  It turned out that my program purchased panoptics within their wall sets and we rarely used our own otoscope/ophthalmoscope sets.  I've just accepted a job in orthopedics and have no foreseeable need for this device anymore. This panoptic was used once this week to check functionality and to make sure that the lense/bulb hadn't been affected during transport.  Everything checked out and works perfectly.  Looking to get $350 shipped but will entertain reasonable offers. In my practice setting I don't need one but for others if you've never used one previously these are the cat's meow. Much easier to visualize fundi structures which is what such an exam is all about. Best of luck with the sale.

I'm starting up a program at GW and might be interested in purchasing your set. It looks like my program is pretty specific about what sort of equipment they want us to buy. What brand do you have? This is the info they give me on what they would like students to purchase:

I'm pretty sure the offer is for a panoptic head. And I'm pretty sure the second sentance in your requirement description says a panoptic head is not recommended.
