pajsawyer
Hello all! Im into my third year practicing as a PA and decided I want to get on the CME requirement early this time around and am trying to find a cheaper way to get my Category 1 CME. My colleague told me about PRI-MED conference. It seems super cheap and says it gives category 1 cme, but it seems like there must be a catch. Anyone have any experience with these conferences and on whether they are legitimate and worth the time?? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! -Jess
Administrator rev ronin Posted February 23, 2016 Administrator Share Posted February 23, 2016 If you want cheap ways to get CME... * Medscape. * Precept a student. Unfortunately, I have no idea about the Pri-Med conference, but I would compare it in cost/CME hours to your state association's conference--how does it stack up? pajsawyer
thanks for the response. It is super cheap- about 5 dollars per 1 credit of Cat 1. Usually in California, where I practice it is 25/credit. That's why it seems too good to be true!
