PANRE for an ortho PA. Adult med or surgery?

Recommended Posts

As the title says. I have been in ortho the last 4+ years and didn't even know there were slight variations of the PANRE. I don't see a ton of Peds so curious to see which option is better; adult med or surgery. Would surgery have more Peds? (Don't know why it would). Also see adult med tends to have a higher pass rate. Just unclear on the differences and which is more ideal. Thanks.

Would be good to get some feedback on this topic. One PA I know who works in Ortho took the Adult Med exam and failed. He took the surgery exam the next time and passed. According to the posted stats the pass rate is higher for the Adult Med exam. Anyone with experience taking the surgery exam or better yet both have info/opinions to share ?
