Help for Pre-PA student

Recommended Posts

I'm currently in my last semester of Undergrad. I have 3 prerequisite courses left to take required specifically by Midwestern. On their website they state that all classes must simply be "completed" prior to matriculation.

I was curious to know if this means I would be able to apply if I'm currently enrolled in the remaining prerequisites when applying. I would of course be finished with them should I be accepted and starting, but I'm curious to know if others have had to do this and whether there were any bumps in the road?

It  is my understanding that you can apply while still taking these courses as long as you'll have them completed by the time the program starts.  I personally have not had to do this and you should ask admissions directly to verify this yourself.  Also, don't forget that MWU requires you to take the GRE.  Plan ahead to prep yourself for that exam.   Good luck!

I did not have credit for three science prerequisites at the time of application. I was enrolled in two of them when I got the interview invite and finished them by the interview date so I turned in verification of completion of those two courses. I still did not have Anatomy at the time of the interview but was accepted to the program within a couple days. I just sent in verification at the end of that semester. No problems during the whole process. (similar results for other schools that only required completion at the time of matriculation) Good luck!
