chommes
I am a new grad who was just offered a position in urgent care. The doctor is very nice but has never had a PA before and does not have a lot of things I would expect in the contract he has offered me. I am not sure if this is a good job for me as a new PA but I wanted some advice as to normal standards that are included in a contract. For instance, what are normal or good amounts given for: -CME allowance -DEA cost -PANCE reimbursement Also I was wondering how much paid vacation is considered average. He offered me 5 days in the first year which is really low. Overall I think this contract needs a lot of negotiation so any advice would be helpful as I consider the job. Thanks! lapelirroja
Just a note, my position pays 100% of all licenses/certificates and does pay for PANCE/PANRE. I think my CME budget is a bit less but I suppose we make up for it in other ways.
