Accepted Students: Class of 2019

Recommended Posts

Yeah my interview was very relaxing. I was not nervous at all. Throughout my interview, we were all laughing like we were good friends lol. So my advice would be to be yourself and have a sense of humor. They like candidates who can see a positive and a humorous side to something. They have no trouble remembering such students. Good luck and best wishes :D

Congrats 4king! Can't wait to officially accept the offer & meet rest of our class!

@RU2013-in terms of interview, it was really laid back like you've heard. It was honestly more of a conversation and the questions were more about you as a person verses situational "what would you do" types. I highly recommend the book "How to Ace Your PA School Interview." It gives you about a 100 different questions that could come up and definitely covered what I was personally asked. In terms of it being your #1, I would definitely make that known in your interview. That's one thing I made sure I did and I think it may have helped? Who knows? But it couldn't hurt!

Hi guys!

I was also accepted, and am in the process of officially accepting my spot :) I got the email with directions on how to accept on August 25th.  I look forward to meeting you!!

Where are you guys from?

I'm from southern NJ (right outside of Philly) and I actually am finishing up my senior year at Rutgers already. You?

Hello all, congrats on your acceptances again! I am super nervous but excited for my interview. This is definitely where i feel most connected to so I really hope to get in. Did you guys feel that if they really like you, they would call you with an acceptance offer 2 weeks after the interview? otherwise they will wait until they finish interviewing all applicants to make a decision?

@ ru2013. Good luck on your interview. Just remember to be yourself. They just want to know you personally. Things I noticed they were looking for in the interview were how well you communicate, confidence, humility, and you being well rounded. In my interview, I got a good vibe from them that they liked me. I got a call exactly 10 days after for my acceptance. They have only accepted, I believe, around 15 students so far. So they just want to interview as many as they can before making final decisions. It's not a bad thing to be on a wait list as there are over 30 seats available. Good luck again :)

Hello everyone!

I was accepted on August 31st and just submitted all of my required documents! Super excited to meet all of you. I was actually thinking about starting up a facebook page for our class of students. Just allow us to all interact, get to know another a little bit before next August, as well as ask each other questions. I'm coming from Utah so the more help and guidance I could get with other students would be awesome. Let me know what you guys think.
