dhageremtp
I am in North Dakota, its a family practice. The organization added an indemnification clause in our contracts, doesn't seem kosher to me. Wanted to find someone to review it. Cannot find anyone in state. Moderator ventana Posted July 30, 2015 Moderator Share Posted July 30, 2015 I would just refuse to sign the new contract I don't like indemnification clauses.....
Evolute
I agree with ventana. I would tell your employer you do not want to/agree to any changes in your current contract. I'm not an attorney (thank goodness) but its my understanding that if a change is to be made to an existing contract both parties have to agree to said change. If this is a new contract I would ask them to take that clause out, If not I would not sign it.
Purrpa
Mark Kopson Email: mkopson@plunkettcooney.com He's a healthcare employment/contract attorney who knows what & who PAs are. He's in MI, but I'd still recommend contacting him. He will lead you in the right direction. PM me if you would like.
