pre-pa2
I have recently taken my GRE last week and received a V 144 and Q 145 (haven't received writing yet). I studied around 2 months for it. I am willing to retake the GRE but with working full-time and deadlines coming up soon, I am unsure of how much my score would rise. I have added around 3 schools that do not require the GRE to my CASPA application. I have a 3.88 cumulative GPA, 3.78 science GPA, around 1,200 hours working as an ED scribe, psychology and clinical research experience, and some volunteering. I know most schools want over a 300, however I was wondering if my other stats would make my GRE scores not matter? Also, would sending my first score to schools that have earlier deadlines and then sending them my new GRE score after it is taken be wise? UGoLong
Our adcom looks at 150 on each of the two sections as something of a threshold however I would suspect your grades would get you an interview at most places, assuming you have met the prereqs and have decent recommendations. PAGuy55
Happened to me too. GRE is the worst. Im looking at schools that don't require it. Idk why PA schools dont make us take a BIO subject test instead because honestly the only relevant thing is reading component. 8th grade math on steroids..not so much. Guest JPG13
I was surprised by the quantitative section (I took the GRE April of this year), the questions were more more involved/trickier than I expected.
