Hey! I also received an email interview.  I was verified around the 1st of June.  I got the email from them about the interview on July 8th for August 19th.  It is also the first school I have heard back from.  I emailed the woman regarding the science test and she said she was unable to provide any information on it because it is a "pop" exam.

Wow, ok.  I can't even imagine what sort of questions they would ask.  I'm trying to decide which date to pick.

Approach it like any other interview you would have, make sure you have good talking points about why you want to be a PA and the ever common "tell us about yourself/biggest life challenge" kind of questions.  The test is on anatomy and pathophys mostly and does not have a bearing on if you are accepted.  Are you guys doing afternoon or morning?

Hey guys! I'm a current student at Lock Haven's Harrisburg campus. I would say take the earliest interview you are able to because it's rolling admission. A certain amount of people will get offers within days of the interview, some will get calls after interviews have all been done, and then there's the waitlist of course. If you have a campus preference (particularly Hburg), early interviews can be especially important!

Also, don't stress about the science test. It has some bio and some A&P, but it doesn't count against your interview. It's mostly to see where everyone is.

Good luck!

Hey all, could you please post stats if you received an interview? Trying to evaluate my chances since I haven't received an invite yet. I NEED Harrisburg campus because I own a home here and can't relocate. Judging by how quickly Harrisburg fills up, I'm thinking I may be out of luck.

Any input greatly appreciated!

I have a 3.43 cumulative GPA. 3.37 science - which should be a little higher because I retook one for an A since submitting CAPSA. My regular undergrad GPA was 3.53 cumulative, but I took some grad (500 level) coursework which obviously pulled my GPA down a little.

GRE 316. Roughly 900-1000 hours health care experience.

Any input greatly appreciated!

Just an FYI: Yes, Hburg fills up quickly most years, but they do make a waitlist of students accepted to other branches, and I think this year we have at least 2 people who ended up getting to switch to Hburg. :)

My interview is at 1:00 pm on August 19th :)

As far as my stats go:

304 on GRE with a 5.0 on the essay portion, about a 3.83 general GPA, about a 3.65 science GPA, 530 HCE in two different hospitals, 60 hours of shadowing, research at my school, lots of leadership extra curricular activities

Got an acceptance phone call!

The interview was very relaxed and laid back. They had students there for questions while you waited for your turn to be interviewed and had the Harrisburg campus streaming in to give you a feel for how the branch campuses worked.

Good luck everyone!
