Moderator ventana Posted May 2, 2015 Moderator Share Posted May 2, 2015 Reasonable offer, nursing home can be challenging but very lucrative, if you're spending a large amount of time there need to be paid significantly more. Most importantly, mentoring, geriatrics is not a field to go into without a good mentor.
Sam I Am
Hi Ventana, can you expand more on what you meant when you said geriatrics is not a field to go into without a good mentor?
Moderator ventana Posted July 4, 2015 Moderator Share Posted July 4, 2015 no field is good to go into as a new grad with out a mentor, but Geriatrics is a mind puzzle and you are dealing with the most complex patients many of whom have 8-15 Dx - NOT easy
