pipedown
I interviewed at QU (didn't get accepted). I thought that program sounds amazing and all the students and staff where very enthusiastic about the program and the school. Especially if the placing is more appealing to you, go with QU. At the end of the day, whichever program you go with, the didactic will be similar but the crucial part as the clinics you are placed in. Or so I have been told by all the PA's I work with. jcastro805
In this situation, I would definitely pick King's. Why go through EMT training, which is hard enough on its own (I was an EMT for many years), simply as a stepping stone to get into the PA program? If this is what you know you want to do anyway, why not save yourself an extra year of school, many thousands of dollars, and a lot of stress by choosing King's? Rotation sites (which is what I assume you are referring to by "locations") often change yearly, and as there will be dozens of other students in your class, you may not get the ones you want anyway. Or your site preferences might change by the time you get to that point in the curriculum. Quinnipiac has a fantastic reputation, but I am sure you will be just as happy and will find gainful employment as a PA by going to King's. Just my two cents! jhonabra
Try to find one that is very nearer to your home, it will save your travel time.
winterallsummer
Go with the cheaper & shorter program - no brainer IMHO. Best of luck to you.
