UGoLong Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Lovenox is pregnancy cat B, while heparin is a cat C. If I had to pick one it would therefore be Lovenox. On the other hand, why are you planning for VTE protection at all for an outpatient surgery on a mobile, healthy person when there is presumably only a short stay involved (less than a day)?
