Over the past 6 mos my office notes associated with durable medical equipment orders have needed a physician cosignature. This has only applied to Medicare recipients. Does anyone know where I can find a ruling on such a need? And, the strange thing is: only 2 companies are requiring it. I work with about 10 different companies.
