pajourney
Hey everyone, I thought it would be useful to start a thread of questions to practice for PA school interviews. I have made a very thorough list of questions and published it on my blog PAJourney.com Check out the link below. I hope you find it useful! Also, please feel free to publish your own questions on this thread. Moderator EMEDPA Posted January 29, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 29, 2015 you forgot a big one: why do you want to be a PA and Not a physician or NP? do you know how they are different?

UGoLong
I just interviewed prospective students yesterday. My advice is: know who you are and why you want to do what you are doing, but don't be too rehearsed. It's our only chance to get to know you as a person and it is usually obvious when we're not getting that chance.
pajourney
UGoLong, that is definitely good advice. I try to tell prospective students that the people interviewing you are generally very friendly and easy to talk to (that's why they work in admissions). Just relax and have a conversation with them. I personally had a lot of fun in all of my interviews. And I think my enjoyment was noticed by my interviewers. :)
