Moderator EMEDPA Posted January 28, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 28, 2015 111k to start? are they high? that's a top 10% salary. but hey, it's the reverse of every other ranking which put us behind NPs(they are 24th on this list....:) )
KMD16
Lets embrace this #. The # maybe inflated. But men, was so upset about the other article that put us behind the NP. Something for us to boost about.
LoRezSkyline
There are only 95K PAs certified in the U.S., and this article is saying there are 45K job openings for us? Whereas there are 205K licensed NPs, but only 15K job openings for them?!? Something's rotten in Denmark - and that's before I even get to the salary #'s... (certified/licensed PA/NP stats from NCCPA 12/2013 and AANP 2014)

medic25
We just got mentioned by Chris Hardwick on Comedy Central's "At Midnight" as the best job in America (quoting Glassdoor.com's list). Now that's what I call credibility that counts!
