vas113
I will be graduating from PA school this December, and am considering moving to CA. When I spoke with a recruiter, she said that employers in California will not consider new grads until they have at least submitted their state license application. Does anyone have experience with this?I will be taking the PANCE January 20th, and am trying to figure out what to expect regarding my potential timeline. LESH
Most want you to have the license in hand.
JustaPA
Kind of late to the thread but Less is right. Our clinic has also had trouble getting new hires credentialed in order to get paid from the insurance companies and that seems to take months to get straightened out. skyfall
Did jobs offer to pay DEA license or did you guys pay that yourselves?
crystaltide
You will more than likely have to pay for it yourself up front. Some will reimburse you, but might not do it for the first 90 days up to a year.
