However, I did more than 3000 hours at a doctor's office who's a general physician but also specializes. Is that not the same thing? Wondering what other people's situations/apps say.. She's the one who e-mailed me about it earlier. I replied telling her it should be shown in my app and rec letters. She hasn't replied back and am guessing she won't get a chance to until Monday. I am wondering if there is a difference if the MD I shadowed is not only a specialist but sees patients in a primary care setting as well. I informed her already in a reply email. Know the mission statement well. Be prepared to exemplify your understanding of the PA profession, professionalism and the biopsychosocial model of medicine. Also the interview is pretty laid back, just be yourself and be prepared to be there for at least 5 hours. They interview people in groups of three and you get asked a series of questions, some of them every one gets a chance to answer and others are individual.
