florida2001
Hi, I finished my pre-requisites and part of my application package is to write resume. Im working as self employed and I have never work in health care field. I have been shadowing and volunteering physician and nurse practitioner in the medical clinic for about 2 months now, twice a week. I'm taking vitals, greeting patient and taking history of the patient. What should I write in the resume? Resume is to me written when you are applying for a job. What should I include in it in my case? thank you
UGoLong
You are applying for a "job": to be a PA student. The resume is to highlight all of your experiences that would make you a good choice for them. Your posting tells us all of the qualifications that you don't have; you need to put together a good resume that talks about the qualifications that you do have. What experience you have, the education that you have, etc.
