I received an email this afternoon inviting me to interview at Campbell September 20th, which is a Saturday. Most other schools (from what I've seen) conduct interviews on Mondays and Fridays mostly (sometimes even mid-week) which can be difficult for those of us who have to take time off work. I'm really pleased that Campbell does their interviews on Saturday. (And they provide lunch. Double win.) Has anyone else heard something? I will be flying in from Florida and staying with some friends Friday night so if anyone wants to meet up to ease some pre-interview jitters, PM me. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

So I just got an email with a date correction. The interview is on SEPTEMBER 10. A Wednesday. Disregard previous post.

I received an interview invitation via email today

Congratulations to you both! I was also wondering when you submitted your applications to Campbell. I submitted my supplemental app mid June and received the email my file was complete the last week of June, so similar timeline as jgaboria . I did not apply to the dual program. Good Luck at your interviews!

Thanks for the luck, Lindsey. I'll take all of that I can get.

To answer your question, I submitted July 1st.

From what I read on the forums from last year, the interview is very relaxed. They start out with a tour and a Q&A with current 1st and 2nd year students and then you interview with a faculty member and practicing PA. Apparently it's a very laid back process at Campbell, which I really appreciate. I never understood the need to make people feel uncomfortable during these things. I'm looking forward to the experience. Another thing I read is that a lot of applicants were offered acceptance within 24 hours after their interviews. That's an exceptionally quick turnaround and unique from other schools I've read about.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and also applying here this cycle as well. For those that have received interviews would you mind sharing your stats? GPA, GRE scores, health care hours and such? I would just like to gauge where I stand and if I'll likely get an interview. Thank you in advance!

Hi hanhd,

Let me preface by saying that I had a LOT of fun in my undergraduate career. That being said,

Overall GPA: 3.4

Science GPA: 3.1

GRE: 310

Fortunately, I have some other elements that I think strengthen my application. I have a Masters in Clinical Nutrition and have been working as a Registered Dietitian at a Level 1 trauma center in Florida for almost four years. (HCE ~8000 hrs) I have also done some medical mission work in Africa and Nicaragua, and I volunteer at a free health clinic locally where I've accrued 200 hours or so. I'm sure that those facets of my application are what got me an interview, not my lackluster GPA.

I hope this helps!

J
