Good luck to those who were called for an interview...I am an alum of the program so any questions let me know.

I will be interviewing Oct 22 and am really looking forward to it! Do you have any tips/suggestions on how to prepare/what to wear? Or any clues as to if they give a quiz or writing sample?

Can't wait to meet whoever else I'll be interviewing with!

Congrats on getting an interview. Just be yourself when you go in for the interview. Know why you want to become a PA deep down, I'm guessing your grades are good since you were offered an interview, so just go in there and do your best. When I interviewed I would google PA school interview questions and would prepare and answer each questions in front of the mirror. I don't know if you are a male or female but you can't go wrong with a suit. When I interviewed there were females with me who wore suits. There is no quiz on the day of interview. You will get an introduction of the program and possibly a tour. So you will be interviewed by one or two faculty members, I don't know if they changed that process. But after the interview you will be brought into a conference room to write a writing sample. It was a very simple writing sample, and I wrote a page. There isn't a limit of how much you should write. Hope this helps. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Of course, without a doubt I am happy with my decision. Well as you know I graduated this may took my boards in june and found out in july I passed. Now just waiting for job offers that are appealing. I can tell you our professors taught us well not only to ace our boards but to also become the best PAs. Every program does have its ups and downs but I'm very much happy I chose NYIT.

hey guys! I just recently started looking into this particular program, and am really interested! I know their application deadline isn't until December 1...but realistically, do you guys think it's too late in the cycle to apply? I already submitted my CASPA and supplementals to other programs over the summer and only heard back from one so far :/ ... what do you guys think?
