Temp License

Recommended Posts

It depends... if you are applying to the Medical board, because your SP is an MD, then now, they grant provisional licenses, until you receive your NCCPA results. If you don't pass, then your license is pulled. If you are applying to the Osteopathic board, because your SP is DO, then you can't apply for a license until after you have received your PA-C. They do not provide provisional licenses for graduate PAs pending certification.

Great thanks for the info. I will be applying to the medical board. I guess I was mostly concerned that my application would be processed before the form my Program Director needs to fill out and sumbit is received by the medical board. Maybe I'll give the board a call tomorrow to help clarify. Thanks for you help.
