ToppDog
I remember a similar one for NP's posted here before, & saying I hope they will make one for PA's. Well, here it is, in case it hasn't been posted yet...

PACdan
That's a pretty neat design. Some states have a looong way to go though....
cinntsp
That's a pretty neat design. Some states have a looong way to go though.... Yet I'm sure they're wondering why they can't retain enough medical providers and why their residents lack care.
CS_1531
As always, the south lags behind the rest of the country. At least North Carolina is very Pro-PA.

delco714
Maine is wrong. PAs can rx sched II. Being in surgery, that's most of my pain rx.. the state has to give "special" privilege, then they update the DEA to reflect that. Everyone who applies gets the privilege. JohnnyM2
So, OK, IA, WV and KY really suck. And what's up with MO, the idiots that just passed the assistant physician law. They probably wouldn't have needed it if they had been more PA friendly to start with. Sent from my Kindle Fire HDX using Tapatalk
Sirpaul1990
The Southeast isn't looking so hot. Texas, yet again, prevails somehow. But I'm also wondering how they decided what states (like Texas) were southEAST instead of southWEST? Most people here in TX consider Texas part of the southWEST part of the country, but I guess I don't have the credentials to be deciding geography. Ryanviola
It is good to know about the scope but it needs some modifications.
fakingpatience
Does anyone know how accurate this is for Georgia?
Moderator EMEDPA Posted November 15, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2014 Does anyone know how accurate this is for Georgia? my understanding is that GA is a great state for PA practice. there are some great solo coverage rural ER jobs that I see advertised there every few years requiring PAs to do full scope emergency medicine including traumas, stemis, cvas, etc.
