Funky little situation

Recommended Posts

To make the story short, I failed to mention that in the past one of my previous occupation is exotic dancing. I did what I needed to do to support myself and my family. I did it all through nursing school up until I got a job as a nurse. I'm not ashamed of it. I contemplated about the idea of not mentioning it in my application because I'm afraid of possible repercussions.

I went to an open house at one of the brand new program around my area and one of the admission commitee member used to be a client of mine.

My plan was definitely not to apply to that one program. But my question is, what happens if I don't mention any of that at all during the application process?

I wouldn't let it stop me from applying.  Programs are too competitive to not apply to a program you would really consider and where you have a chance of getting it.  However, I definitely wouldn't mention it. In fact I would act like I never met "the client" if you meet them in interview. I would hope that the adcom would be able to differentiate from their current position and their previous one, if that makes sense.

Lol whoRyou, you always have the most animated posts!  I do have to say though, boy you are tough on what is spam...  I don't know this could be real? In all the applicants in all the world, surely atleast one time this has happened?
