SoCalPA
From their website: "The Physician Assistant (PA) program at San Joaquin Valley College will close in the Fall of 2015, after its last cohort of students completes the program. SJVC will continue to meet all of the educational standards of the PA programmatic accrediting body (ARC-PA) for its current students." Sad to see a great program close down. SoCalPA
I cannot speak to that. If he does it would be a great loss to PA Education, in my opinion.

whoRyou
That's odd because I spoke to them about month ago give or take and they did not mention this at all.
SoCalPA
Their website previously stated that they would update on the future of the program in Summer 2014. So I assume that it was a recent decision.
JustaPA
Yeah, it is finishing its last class, a victim of degree creap. It is a private community college and is not able to comply with the new masters degree requirement. As a member of the first class of students from SJVC, I am particularly sad to see it go away. LESH
Congrats to the newest lean mean diagnostic machines of the Central Valley of California graduating from the mighty SJVC Primary Care PA program!! Proud of your accomplishments! Proud of your perserverance, proud of what Monica, Jed, Andrey, et.al have done. Enjoy your pinning and enjoy your day! I will definitely be thinking of you and please know your successes have brought many a smile to an AARP PA's face. Now go rock the PANCE like you rocked everything else. Nothing but love...
