mw1n5d4
Hello everyone, I am currently serving in US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and SDA member. I am also currently certified Medical Laboratory Technician(ASCP) and Medical Administrative Assistant(NHA). My current sGPA is 3.63 and cGPA is 3.47. I am pursuing BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and hopefully will be able to obtain by the end of this year or Spring 2015. Any thoughts and input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Z PA-C
It sounds like you're a strong applicant for LLU. Navy Corpsman is obviously great HCE for PA school. Keep doing what you're doing. Make sure to read the admissions requirements carefully. I think they just added a Spanish requirement to the pre-reqs. I would also really recommend attending one of their info sessions and even after submitting your CASPA, continue to email the program to update them on any changes/improvements to your application file.Good luck! Z PA-C
Should I submit the CASPA even if I don't have my BS at this moment? Will you have your BS before December 31, 2014? If yes, then apply. If no, then you will have to wait until next year. Do I have to have a bachelor’s degree in order to apply? You must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college by December 31 of your application year. http://www.llu.edu/allied-health/sahp/pa/faqs.page? Possibly yes, but I still have to take few more classes in Spring 2015 to meet the prerequisite. Will that be wise to submit my CASPA application with this kind of situation? Z PA-C
You can have 2 prereq courses in progress. As long as they are completed by Spring 2015.
