I haven't heard back either. I submitted caspa and supplemental in the end of June. I was wondering if anyone how the interview invites are offered? For example if you submit early and don't get an invite are you passed over and won't get one later? Or are you ranked and then offered interviews accordingly ( with the best applicant first and lesser ones later?)

They confirmed receipt of my supplemental app on May 26.  (CASPA was complete at that time as well.)  I received an interview invitation on July 24 and was told the dates would be announced by mid August.  Anecdotally, when I was applying, I spoke with the admissions director about the pros and cons of waiting until my spring courses finished (mid-late June) to start the CASPA verification (vs just submitting in May and sending updates later).  She advised me to submit early since it sounds like the first wave of invites is based on that pre-mid-June-ish time period.  (I mentioned not being able to get my app in until July if I waited for transcripts from spring classes, and she advised against that.  There's also probably a huge flood of apps that come in around the time since Oregon (west coast in general) schools are mostly all on that late quarter system.)  So there is an advantage to applying pretty early.  That said, I have no idea if they put people in little holding tanks for later review along the way or really how great the early application advantage is.  I do know lots of people get in with July and August applications as well, so for now, I guess just try to be patient...

Has anyone been to a group interview?  Or does anyone know more about the details of the OHSU group interview(s) format?  The idea makes me a little nervous only because I don't know what to expect.  Does this mean multiple applicants and a panel of interviewers?  Is it intense?  Or just kind of a meet and greet?  Any insights appreciated.  Thanks!

I haven't personally interviewed with OHSU, but I had a friend interview there a few years back and he said they sat in a circle and there were 3 people asking questions. He told me to remember to think like a team player and don't jump at every question to answer, give others a chance to answer too.  This could have changed though.  The idea of a group setting makes me nervous as well.

The most important advice was, be yourself and that OHSU is really welcoming and they really just want to get to know YOU!

Good Luck!

Agree with the above. I interviewed at OHSU last year, and it was a circle type interview. I remember them giving everyone in the room a pretty fair chance to answer, but there are still opportunities to show them you're not a team player, haha. For ours, they would say something like "Anna, what do you think about..." and then on the next question, it would be "Bob, why don't you start by telling us..." Etc.

But it's really REALLY true (and I have nothing to gain by telling you otherwise)...this school genuinely cares about the cohort they are building and about their ability to look out for each other through thick and thin. Be yourself, be blessed and grateful to be there, and try to have a little fun! :)
