mirnap
Hi everyone, I was wondering what everyone's statistics were for those who got in previous years. I have 1600 direct patient care at an internal Medicine office as a medical assistant, about 120 hours of shadowing two PAs and a doctor, 300 hours of volunteering, two years of research at a biology lab at my university, and an overall GPA of 3.76. I've taken lots of science classes, and my last one is genetics which I am finishing up this summer. My GRE is not that great 4 on writing 151 on math and 147 on verbal.. What are my chances?! Sunflwr267
Your numbers look pretty good, but I would say it really depends on how your interview goes. Can you talk about exactly why you want to be a PA? Can you reflect on things you have learned from your hands-on patient experience and shadowing? Also, people at Yale love research so that might help you out a little.
