Guest alchaplin
Hey, I was just wondering what the details of your apps were. I looking at applying for the 2010 class. I am finishing up my bachelor of health science at the medical university of south carolina. I work as a paramedic and have worked EMS for about 4 1/2 years now. So by the time that I apply 5 1/2. I will be 24 the. I have been studying for my GRE haven't taken that yet. I have a decent GPA around 3.4 or 3.5 with a high science GPA 3.5 ish or higher. I haven't actually sat down and calculated my science GPA. I will start shadowing in the next couple of months or so. I have been doing all this while working full time and two part time jobs. I'm also an ACLS instructor and BLS instructor, do volunteer work with Savannah Tech's EMT class. I'm a state preceptor for EMT and paramedic students. I have been in commercials and newspaper advertisements for the school also. I do volunteer work in my community and CPR classes for the community. I'm just wondering what ya'll think my chances would be and any tips to make it stronger or anything else I can possibly do?

mwilding
:D wow strong GRE. Advice to those who have not taken it (aka me :) ) I got one of the books from B&K and read it back to front. You learn a lot of test taking tricks especially for the math sections. Study vocab - it is the single most effective thing you can do to raise your verbal score. Take every practice exam you can. Plenty of them out there.

I feel the only issue will be vocabulary, math is fairly basic.
