Hey There!  I too am an alternate hoping to get pulled into the 2016 class.  Interviewed in January and would love to go join Western!  Thanks for starting this thread.  Does anyone have any information on how the alternate list works?  From the email, Western said it doesn't share any rankings.

When I went to the information session they said for every accepted student there is a person on the wait list who is a similar applicant to the accepted student. so if your match that is accepted drops out then you get accepted. that is what I understood from their explanation... Hope that makes sense

Hi everyone. I am also on the waitlist; I wish you all the best of luck! I called admissions to schedule the telephone review of my application in the case that I need to apply again next year, and I inquired about any wait list movement. I was informed that about 50 applicants were on the alternate list and that there has been movement of about 15 spots. I hope this helps!
