winterallsummer
Can anyone recommend a good basic primer on pain management for PAs not working in this specialty? I have seen a diverse handling of this area of medicine. Obviously some basic principles adhere in all circumstances (eg baseline med and break through pain, stepwise approach), but I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good book for IM or specialty PAs who want a better understanding of managing pain when a pain management specialist is not available.
