Current PA job market in/around Seattle

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My husband recently accepted a job at UofW and we will be moving to Seattle in June. I currently reside in Pennsylvania and work in cardiology. I was hoping someone could shed some light on the PA job market in Washington, specifically in/around Seattle. I have perused the job boards and I am in the process of updating my resume, but would like an insider's perspective on the PA job scene. Given that the MEDEX program is a very strong PA program, I am hoping that Washington is a PA friendly state. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

One other question.. I am completing the PA medical license paperwork and am confused about a question in the licenses in other states section. It has a section for each license that states "basis of license" and then two columns, one for exam date passed and one for endorsement. I am not sure what this means. I did not have to take a state specific exam, only the nccpa exam. I do not know what the endorsement column means. I don't want to leave it blank in case this is necessary information. Does anyone understand this?

Everyone who messaged me before, sorry for the late response.  I got busy with PANRE and life that I forgot to check my message from the forum.

We are currently hiring part-time, per diem for now.  And potential for full-time when openings comes around.

Please pm me with any questions.  I will be around to answer questions.

Thanks
