Conduct pre-placement, periodic, regulated/non-regulated, health maintenance, and special physical exams. Review histories and perform chart reviews. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. Order and interpret laboratory, radiographic and other diagnostic procedures as indicated. Graduate of a physician assistant program approved by the American Medical Association required. Washington State licensure (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration required. Two years experience preferred. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. Basic computer experience preferred. Military experience a plus. This is NOT the doc-in-a-box occupational medicine clinic you are familiar with, so it would be best to lay-off the cheap shots until you understand our work in this environment.
