Physician Assistant Opening

Exciting occupational medicine physician assistant opportunity in the Pacific Northwest! Become part of a quality group of providers dedicated to the highest quality of care to a unique patient population. Light call schedule and some administrative responsibilities. Conduct pre-placement, periodic, regulated/non-regulated, health maintenance, and special physical exams. Review histories and perform chart reviews. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. Order and interpret laboratory, radiographic and other diagnostic procedures as indicated.

Graduate of a physician assistant program approved by the American Medical Association required. Washington State licensure (or ability to obtain) and DEA registration required. Two years experience preferred. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. Basic computer experience preferred. Military experience a plus.

Position offers competitive compensation package and working environment! Approximately 2 - 3 hours drive from Seattle, Portland and Spokane with local airport in town. Yes, spoken like a true Western Washington / Oregon believer.

 

This is NOT the doc-in-a-box occupational medicine clinic you are familiar with, so it would be best to lay-off the cheap shots until you understand our work in this environment. All but one of the PAs here have been here 12+ years (I've been here 21), so it can't be that bad.... And, no, we don't glow in the dark.
