kruton85
It's hard to find a decent job with benefits as a new grad. I don't want to move to isolated town to get paid but I think I need to move to gain experience.
LIPPER
Our practice had a position in Clearwater (not south Florida but not Podunk, Idaho either , sorry to anyone from there) open starting 9/2012. Not glamorous but virtually assured to make $130K+...could find a PA interested...finally after waiting 4 months had to take ARNP applications and ended up finding a great one.. fozzydog
It's not just you. Employers have no reason to pay top salaries to attract candidates to one of the warmest, funnest, and most well known metro areas in the country. Also, the employers expenses are higher in areas like this, and due to competition their reimbursements are probably lower than in areas with higher demand. HospitalRecruiting
There is never a shortage of new grads who are willing to work cheaply in destination locations like South Florida. Here is a list of jobs, but I doubt they offer top pay. http://www.hospitalrecruiting.com/jobs/Physician-Assistant-Jobs/Florida/
