A great way to advance knowledge of PA practice and education would be to create a database for PAs to publicize themselves. This would also benefit PAs in Private Practice to possibly increase patient panel. I just came across a nursing website which had a similar function. I FREQUENTLY hear from patients and friends/family results of their internet search on the medical provider they had an appointment to visit with. Just yesturday I had a patient ask about my Masters Thesis - whom I had never met before.

The idea is ... off of the NAAPA or some other website a way to search through a list of PA's to find basic biographical information. Experience, Education, Special Certifications, Awards, Publications, Current Employment and if they are accepting new patients.
