I don't know why the link isn't working, but here is an article about it:

Thanks! Very interesting article...if this can forge more positive alliances it's a good thing.
Have a blessed new year,

This makes good sense, as organziations such as CMS don't see a difference between PA's or NP's...just see both as midlevel providers...what is good for one group in the world of reimbursement and access is good to the other.
Here's another link to a PA/NP collaborative group.
American College of Clinicians. FYI this group is very pro "Physician Associate", i.e. name change and seems to be trying to actually affect that change...we'll see.....check it out.

Thanks for the link---I don't know why the amcollege.org gives an error message.
Wow, how awesome! The site that SirJL provided worked. It is like music to my ears that there's an association for PA and NP to be unitedly represented. I have always felt that both professions are similar and yet have differences having perhaps different strengths. It would be nice to see something like this embraced not only by PAs but by NPs too. I have a bit of apprehension that PAs would be quicker to embrace something like this and NPs, perhaps, less. I hope I am entirely wrong and that both professions embrace it equally. I noticed that there were much more PAs on the board of this coalition--just an observation.
Anyhow, cheers to such an endeavor, which is to be praised for the attempt to help the two professions work as they should--as team members.

I don't think that the generalization that PAs would be more likely to embrace this than NPs is accurate...although I would argue that the PA profession has more to gain by joining forces...
for what it matters......my ex wife is an NP....we didn't live in harmony
